Charlotte:
She is so grown up! It's almost scary. The things that come out of her mouth are amazing and hilarious. She's so smart too. The other day I drew her this shape:
She asked me what it was. I thought it was Rhombus. She said to me, "Noooo mama that's not a Rhombus that's a Trapezium." So I looked it up. She was right! She's already smarter than me. As I sit here typing she's reading me You Can Do It Sam. Okay, she's not really reading it. She just has it memorized.
She loves her baby sister so much. Too much. I'm constantly having to referee her snuggles. She doesn't know her own strength. She loves giving Noelle raspberries, but it mostly comes out with her spitting on her sister.
She's quite proud of herself for using the big potty chair now and washing her hands by herself. Of course she can't quite turn the faucet off so I have to help with that. Her Auntie Nonie got her a new stool and she thinks it's the greatest thing in bathroom fun.
Noelle:
Noelle is 5.5 months old now. It feels like just yesterday I gave birth to her. I can't even believe she's almost 6 months old. She's sitting up on her own now and I can also prop her up on her hands and knees and she just hangs out like that. I sometimes wonder if she'll crawl and walk earlier than Charlotte. Charlotte didn't start until she was 12 months old.
No teeth yet. I hate teething. I don't mind if that waits. She puts anything and everything in her mouth though. It's almost impossible to eat anything around her because she dives for it. We haven't started her on solids and probably won't for awhile. I'd like to update more, but Steve just walked in with a crying baby. Time to eat!
